I live in Alpine, Oregon, it’s a small town in the foothills of the Coast Range in Western Oregon. Since retiring from my full time job as a Building Inspector I have more time to spend at my passion of Fly Tying, Fly Fishing and Photography. I design flies for the waters I fish, mainly in the Pacific Northwest. Each year I enjoy demonstrating fly tying and also teaching fly tying classes at many Fly Fishing Expo’s. I’ve been involved in fly tying and fly fishing since the early 1970’s.

I keep busy being a Whiting Farms Dealer, also I am a Fly Designer for Montana Fly Co. and also a member of the Patagonia Pro Team. I’ve been married to my lovely wife Chris for 50 years. She keeps me busy when I’m not fishing, helping her sell her handmade reed baskets at art fairs and helping in the garden. We are the proud Grandparent’s of 5 lovely Grandchildren.
